St. Louis Trip

Last month Mommy and Daddy took me to St. Louis, and I went to my very first Cardinals game! Daddy was excited to show me his favorite place on earth.

First stop: Visiting Ozzie Smith's statue
He is Daddy's hero!
It was love at first sight!

Hoping to get an autograph

We got to see all the coaches discuss the game during warm-ups.

Then it began!

I got to see Albert play for the first time. I think he may be my hero one day! (Daddy hopes so)

By the top of the 3rd, I was out.

4th inning

5th inning

6th inning

Back up in time for the 7th inning stretch (and a snack)

The Cards didn't win, but we still had a great time. There was still more fun to come!

It was "Kids Run the Bases Day!"

I had a blast, but I think Daddy may have been more excited than me!

It was a great day at the ballpark. I can't wait to go back!

While we were in St. Louis, we took a trip to the zoo. (Their zoo is free!)

And our last day there, we went and hung out by the river. Mommy kept trying to get me to look at this big, tall metal thing. It was alright, but the geese were much cooler and fun to chase!

And I found a new friend at the store under the big metal thing. I snuggled with it until I fell asleep.

Happy Mother's Day!!

Happy Mother's Day!! I finally got to play outside when we went to a cookout at Gran Gran Brown's house on Saturday. It was still a little muddy, but mommy still let me play in the dirt.

This looks like the perfect stick to dig with!

That sure is a funny looking bird!

What do you mean I have to leave my sticks here?

After a big breakfast and lunch on Saturday my belly couldn't hold anything else. Mommy said that she looked like this when I was in her belly.

Sunday was rainy (again), so Maggie and I had to play inside.

I discovered that Maggie makes a good step stool...

and an even better chair...

except when she does this:

Ouchie

I had an accident at Daycare this week when a toy school bus fell on my poor big toe. It was red and swollen, and my toenail turned black. I didn't want to put any weight on it until mommy brought me a magic shoe that let me walk without hurting.

Two days later, some mean little girl in my class ran over my same toe with the same school bus!! It started bleeding, but I was a big boy! I did cry a little but not for long.

I wan't going to let that little toe stop me from having some fun outside!!

Fun Indoors

It has been raining on and off all week long. I haven't been able to go and play outside like I wanted. I have been throwing fits to go outside, so mommy finally let me go play on the patio a few times between storms.

The best part about rain is playing in the puddles it leaves behind!

Daddy brought in my basketball goal to help entertain and give me a few lessons. He said that he wants me to learn how to shoot with my left hand and right hand. Then I will be undefendable just like my Uncle Tim. (Ofcourse Daddy can defend him, but he is the best!)

I worked on my dunk,...

my jumpshot,...

and passing with Maggie.

Uh oh where did the ball go?

Hey did you check under the couch?

I see it! It is way under there!

Daddy, will you please help me?

Reach further! You almost have it!

Thanks Daddy. That shot was just for you!

Basketball was fun, but staying inside can get boring. Maggie and I both really want it to stop raining.

Mommy spent the rainy weekend cleaning out her closet. She would make nice organized piles, and I would knock them over. I kept stealing this shirt from her, so she decided to make me wear it and take pictures for future blackmail opportunity.

Blackmail? Whatever, I look like Luke Skywalker!

Well, that's what I have been doing this week. Hopefully my next pictures will be taken outside in the sun!

Later folks!!

This is my mommy. I love her very much, but she just may be the worst blogger in the world! So here is what has been going on with me for the past month:

I now sleep in a big boy bed!!

And I am working hard on my pitching!

Although for some reason the ball likes to go backwards.

Sunday morning in our house is "Pancake Sunday." When I am a good boy I might get chocolate in my pancakes!!

Sometimes I have to work for the chocolate.

I still love my Maggie!!

But her kisses are gross!!

Here Daddy let me help you...

Better yet it looks better on me!

This video was made last month the morning after Grandma Manda left. She never got to see it, so this is especially for you Grandma!!
