Growing Up Too Fast

It seems like it was just last week that we would wrap Wesley up in his towel after a bath. I could wrap it around him three times.

Now, I can barely keep him in it...

He is always on the move.

He has even started to rebel against neatly combed hair...

Most recently wanting t0 sport the "faux-hawk."

Bathtime is Funtime

I have so much fun playing in the bathtub now! I even throw a big fit when Mommy or Daddy tries to take me out of it!
I have so many cool toys to play with in the tub!

Mommy lets me play for a pretty long time, but then makes me get out when my eyes get red and my feet get wrinkled.

She also figured out that she can fill my tub with toys to keep me occupied anywhere in the house.
As you can see, I still haven't figured out that I am supposed to close my mouth before Maggie gives me kisses.
I even play in my bathtub outside while Daddy works in the backyard.
Ooh, there's that cool green stuff again!
Basically, anytime you sit me up and put toys in front of me, I am a happy little man!!

First Trip to the Golf Course

Can you believe I turned 6 months old this weekend?! To celebrate my birthday, Daddy took me to the golf course with him to practice his swing.
I watched every move he made, and actually found the whole thing funny as you will see in the videos below.
Me and Mommy were having a good time watching him.
Then, I got sidetracked by all the other golfers riding by in tiny white cars and waving at me...
...and sidetracked again by the green stuff Mommy let me sit on.
I just couldn't take my eyes off of it.
We had such a fun day! I hope I get to go back again soon! Maybe I will get to practice my swing next time we go!

Mommy took some videos of me when we first got there. For some reason, watching Daddy hit the ball just made me giggle. Please forgive Mommy for the second video. Sometimes, she forgets that when you use our camera for a video, you can't turn it sideways! Oh well, you still get the idea.

Father's Day

I have the best Daddy in the world! He always spends time with me and lets me know how much he loves me. And Mommy always says how lucky she is to have him, because he cooks, cleans, and does more than any other Daddy that she knows. We got to spend the whole weekend together. Today, Mommy and I made him breakfast in bed. Then we all went to church and spent the afternoon at Gran Gran Brown's. Yesterday, Mommy had to work, so me and Daddy had a "Boys' Day." And Friday night, we got to get in the pool. Daddy spent the whole time with me teaching me how to kick and splash.

By the end of the evening, I was brave enough to float by myself. But I knew that Daddy was close by if I needed him.

Ozzie Pujols

This is my friend, Ozzie Pujols. When I was little, we used to share clothes. Now I am a big boy, and my Aunt Crystal got me my very own Cardinals uniform!

I still have to borrow his baseball glove for now....

And, I have not quite figured out what to do with it, but I will learn soon!

For now, I will just look cute in my uniform!

New Toys and Tricks

Mom and Dad got me a new toy, the Rainforest Jumperoo. I can bounce around like a wild man now. Another new toy arrived in the mail. My dog Maggie and I got the Michael Vick chew toy. HMMMM...tasty

I have grown so much here lately. I can now sit up for long periods of time all by myself. I will be crawling very soon as soon as I get my arms to cooperate.
